Our history
Opdicom was founded in early 2003 by a small group of former Hewlett-Packard
executives. With a collective 50-year involvement in the IT industry and optical
storage market, the team recognized the opportunity to provide a solution to the
growing optical media storage and management problem. Partnering with one of the
IT industry's leading global venture capital advisors and backed by significant
private investment, the team began developing and acquiring intellectual
property that would expedite product delivery. Within seven
months, Opdicom launched its OpdiTracker software
and OpdiStore technology.
Opdicom's products address a global market need, and with forecasted revenues of more than $25 million by 2008, Opdicom is planning for rapid global expansion of its operations.
The company has a high-tech research and development facility located in Melbourne Australia, additional software operations in
India, and a United States sales office located in Princeton New Jersey.
